We chose fava beans and peas. Both have a mild, unobtrusive taste and are therefore not noticeable at all. The lesser-known fava bean aka field bean is actually one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. It grows in many areas, including Northern Europe, and has a protein content of 25-30%.

Many vegan protein bars contain soy protein, have a sandy consistency and taste very artificial. We have put a lot of development into our Vegan Crispies so that they have excellent nutritional values ​​and at the same time taste just as deliciously chocolaty as our HEJ Crispies with milk protein. When it comes to Vegan Crispy, we do not use any collagen, palm oil, added sugar, artificial flavors or artificial colors. A must for every chocolate fan who likes to snack on plants.

You don't need to worry. Polyhydric alcohols belong to the group of carbohydrates and do not have the same effect as drinking alcohol. They have fewer calories than sugar and are therefore the optimal ingredient for this bar.
